Reservations and Bookings

Reservations are best made online using the online booking system. Reservations can also be made over the telephone, but will not be confirmed until an official booking form has been received.

Payments must be made on the following basis:

i.	At the time of booking a 25% deposit will be taken
ii.	3 months before, a further 25% must be paid
iii.	6 weeks before, the final 50% must be paid

Final Payment

The balance and any additional charges are due six weeks before the arrival date. A damages deposit of £300 is due with the final payment. This sum will be held to cover any losses, damage and additional cleaning charges that may arise if the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition. Charges for extra services may be deducted from this. The deposit, less any deductions will be refunded within fourteen days after the departure date.

Non-payment by the due date will be treated as a cancellation and the Owner may re-let the property without reference to the Applicant who remain liable for payment of the full amount on the same basis as in the event of a cancellation.

Cancellation

Note. All applicants are advised to take out personal cancellation insurance.

Any request to cancel a booking must be received in writing. Whilst the applicant remains liable for the final payment by the due date (as shown on the booking form) the Owner will offer the property for let and will use whatever means they consider reasonable to re-let the property in the event of a cancellation, if however the Owner is unsuccessful in re-letting the cancellation charges will be made as follows:

Period notice Charge of cancellation:

More than six weeks:	50% of full rental
Six weeks or less:	100% of full rental

Methods of payment

Payment may be made by cheque or by bank transfer.

Risk

The Owners shall not be liable for any damage or injury caused to the Applicant or any guests in respect of the property or any amenity provided by the Owner for any loss or damage to their personal belongings howsoever arising.

Duration and times of lettings

Letting commences at 16:00hrs on the arrival date and ends at 10:00hrs on the date of departure unless otherwise agreed.

Non-availability of property

If for any reason beyond the control of the Owners the property is not available on the date booked (owing to fire damage for example) or the property is unsuitable for letting, all rent and charges paid in advance by the Applicants will be refunded in full but the Applicant will have no further claim against the Owners.

Miscellaneous

The Applicant shall be responsible for the orderly conduct of guests during their stay. Consideration must always be shown to Pen y Clip. Offensive or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated. Failure to comply with this request will result in individuals or the entire party being asked to leave the premises. No refund will be made and there may be an additional charge for repairs and/or compensation.

If any items are delivered to Pen y Clip before the Applicants stay, prior arrangements must be made with the Owners and the person making the delivery. The Owners will use their best endeavour for the safe-keeping of such items and can only accept responsibility if a full inspection of the goods is made at the time of delivery. Any equipment or personal effects brought into Pen y Clip by the guests remain at their own risk and the Owners will not be liable in the event of any loss, theft or damage.

The rental price of Pen y Clip is for the exclusive use of the house regardless of the number of people staying. The party MUST NOT exceed twelve.

Wales operates a non-smoking policy in enclosed public places. Pen y Clip is a non-smoking property and smoking is only permitted outside the property.

We welcome one well behaved dog by prior arrangement. An additional damages deposit will be charged at the Owners discretion.

Pen y Clip has two floors. The property has no wheelchair access and young children should be supervised.
