The House
Little is known about the architect, but the quirky, idiosyncratic detailing gives the property real character and charm, whilst not betraying the architect's modernist leanings.
The sizeable lounge features original oak flooring and wood burning stove, making it a perfect room for a night by the fire. Or throwing open the doors and enjoying the early evening sunshine and pleasant gardens.
Adjoining the lounge is a library/music room – a quiet, peaceful room to either sit and read or listen to music - vintage turntable included. The games room is a place for everyone to enjoy a game of table tennis or darts. Kids can also plug their games consoles into the TV and relax on the bean bags.
Like the large lounge, the 450sqft kitchen also opens onto the deck area. With all Miele appliances, Corian worktops, Gaganau coffee maker and a French farmhouse table that comfortably seats twelve, the kitchen is the perfect space for entertaining.
Also on the ground floor is a fifth double bedroom, WC and a separate shower/wet room.
Upstairs, the four bedrooms are all large doubles with fantastic views. The master suite features an en-suite with walk in double shower and a walk in dressing room. Its super king size bed is adorned with high-quality linen to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
The first floor also features a second en-suite bedroom with walk in wardrobe and super king size bed, family bathroom and two further bedrooms fully equipped with twin single beds.
