The area around Pen y Clip offers a wide variety of activities for all ages, from leisurely strolls to rock climbing to Welsh longbow shooting.

Anglesey boasts no less than eight golf courses, each with their own unique features and settings. From the championship links course of Bull Bay to the open moorland course of Barons Hill.

Walkers are also spoilt for choice. The highly popular Anglesey Coastal Path - a bird watchers paradise - takes in some of the most breathtaking scenery anywhere in the UK. From the towering cliff faces in the north of the island to the stunning beauty around Malltraeth.

Pen y Clip is also the perfect base from which to explore Snowdonia. Llanberis and the foot of Snowdon are only a 15 minute drive away.

Anglesey is a mecca for watersports enthusiasts. Around its coast you'll find diving, sea kayaking, sailing, wind surfing and even kite surfing. Fishing charters are widely available and there are numerous boat yards, chandlers and tackle shops - a highlight is fishing for sea bass at Penmon Point.

If this all sounds a bit too energetic there are countless miles of clean sandy beaches for a relaxing stroll and sun bathing.
